Abigail was in the NICU for 19 days, March 11-March 29.
She had to be at least 4lbs, eating and gaining weight everyday before she could come home.
Day 1, March 11
Already practicing her swallowing skills with her paci.
Under the lights for her jaundice.
Abigail had a feeding tube and IVs in her belly for the first several days. All of her milk went through the feeding tube and then she received extra nutrition/fluids through the IVs.
Thankfully, Abigail only needed the oxygen/nasal cannula for the first couple days.
She has a solid set of lungs, and let everyone know!
Day 3
Praising God for His many blessings!!
Day 4

On March 15, Day 5, Mommy was FINALLY able to hold Abigail again. Due to Abigail's IV going into her belly and the need for the phototherapy lights, Abigail needed to stay in the incubator.
