Happy Easter

Henry started off his Easter week with an Easter Egg hunt at the library during story time.

 

He then had lots of fun dying Easter eggs.

I wasn't sure if Henry would like the Easter Bunny this year. 

He didn't just like him, he LOVED him!!!

We also enjoyed seeing the Easter Bunny at our neighborhood Easter Egg hunt this year.

Thankful for a beautiful Easter weekend!

The Easter Bunny brought Henry lots of goodies on Easter morning.

We have read lots of Easter books over the past few weeks. The other night I asked Henry what Easter was all about and he said, "Jesus." We must be doing something right! 

Definitely thankful and so blessed!!!

April Fun

Henry had his 3 year wellness visit on April 3.  

He weighed 35 lbs (81 percentile), and he was 39 1/4 inches tall (88 percentile). He received a good report from Dr. Eidson!  No shots this time, which is always a plus. 

 

So Henry and I went to Chick Fil A to celebrate!

Henry has become a big UK fan!!!  

We had lots of fun cheering for UK in the Final Four game with our good friends Darren, Karleen, and Conner. 

Bailey was even excited about the big win too! 

Henry can now read/recognize KENTUCKY and spell out the word.  

Henry also started swim class this month!  Super excited!!!

He started off being unsure of the water, but now he LOVES it!  Here he is swimming with his teacher Ms. Carly.

His favorite part of swim class is playing on the slide afterwards!

Henry has become very independent lately. Everything is, No I do it!

Enjoying the beautiful spring weather at the zoo with Addie!

Henry pet the kangaroo for the 1st time this month too!!!  He has been kind of scared to pet them for a while now, so it was so exciting to see him do this.

He even got near the goats too! 

 He has been wanting to stay away from the petting zoo too, but on this trip to the zoo he was excited to see all the animals!

We also enjoyed a fun trip to see Grandpa Jerry!!!

Henry had SO MUCH FUN playing out side with Grandpa. He was constantly running around to see what he could do next.

Big boy at the dentist!!  I was so proud of how well Henry did at the dentist.....and he was too! 

Henry is working really hard on cutting with scissors and tracing letters and numbers now.  He enjoys it too!
