We have had an exciting month with this BIG BOY!!!
Henry saw his 1st movie, Frozen, at the movie theater.
After church one Sunday, we got out and enjoyed a warmer day in January. Henry LOVED seeing the train at Centennial Park.
Silly boy had to wear a bow tie to school....just like his daddy.
Henry moved up to the Beginner 3 class at school this month too. There are 14 kids in his class to 2 teachers, Ms. Megan and Ms. Ginger. Henry has done really well and enjoys being with all his friends.
He wore his tie all day long too:-)
Henry's favorite book right now, and mine too, is Hello Big Red. It's all about Western's Kentucky's campus and Big Red of course. Just so cute!
All bundled up, ready for our walk
Henry had lots of fun at Hoppity Hop celebrating his best buddies birthday!
Happy 3rd birthday to Conner!
Cool dude at the park!
Henry drinking from a big boy cup!!!
And this is definitely the most important event for us in January!
We did a 3 day potty training boot camp. It was CRAZY to say the least, but in the end Henry learned how to use the potty. YAY HENRY!!!!
Henry ran around the house in just his underwear and a t-shirt for the 3 days. The goal of the 3 day training is to catch him in the act of having an accident, so he realizes/learns what is happening. There were MANY accidents! He ended up getting kind of scared at first when he realized what was happening to his body; however, in the end it did work!
He drank LOTS of juice, got LOTS of prizes, LOTS of stickers, and LOTS of M&Ms.
So excited to see his first 2 stickers under pee pee!!!!
On the 3rd day of the potty training, we actually had a beautiful, warmer day. So outside we went!!! It was much needed and Henry had so much fun.
Henry even peed on the house and on the fence! Haha:-)
Climbing like the BIG BOY he is!!!
Look at all those pee pee stickers!!!
I was so nervous about Henry going to school after the long weekend we had. I called to check on him and his teacher said he was doing very good at staying dry. I was so excited! However, when I picked him up I realized this kid had held his pee ALL DAY until 4:30pm when he ended up having an accident. He obviously has learned how to hold it.....and he must have a big bladder too!
Surely this phase won't last very long.
SO PROUD OF THIS BIG BOY!!!!
So today, which I guess is his 5th day of potty training, he has done such a great job! We even got out of the house and went to story time. No accidents!!! I have just placed the potty out in the open and let him run around in a t-shirt. He now uses the potty all by himself! I'm sure there will be accidents in the future (hopefully not too many), but I couldn't be prouder of our BIG BOY!!
Checking out all of his stickers!
Way to go Henry!!!!!
