Sweet Summer Time

We started off the month enjoying a visit from MoMo, Bryce, and Mason.

Henry always has so much fun with his cousins!
Overall, we have had a more mild summer, so we have been out enjoying our walks.

A little side note...Henry is now wearing big boy underwear at nighttime too.  No more pull ups!!  He wakes up in the middle of the night to go pee sometimes, but he is staying dry.  Yay Henry!
Of course we had to go to the zoo!!
Having fun on the carousel.

Hugs from his sweet friends Kate and Addie!
The crew!!
Jenny, Addie, and Ethan Nance & Jody, Kate, and Eli Simmons
Henry had so much fun bowling for the 1st time.
He was a pro!!

Henry and Conner sizing up the bowling balls.
Fun family night!

James and I also took Henry to see the Planes movie.
He is really focused here!!
Our walking buddy!!
So this is a classic look from Henry these days!!
He's saying, No, I don't want it!!!
Exploring the green way with daddy
Henry and his friends at school on hat day!
Henry and I went up to Bowling Green to visit my friend Jessica Roberts.  Both of our boys love trains, so we took a trip to the train museum.  They loved it!
Henry and Drew
Saying bye bye to the trains.
Our little soccer player!!
Henry is signed up to play fall soccer.  He got some great soccer gear from Missy, Paul, and the boys. (Somehow I didn't take any pictures when we visited!) James is actually signed up to coach Henry's team.  So far we have been practicing around home and getting Henry use to wearing his cleats, shin guards, and socks.  It definitely took some getting use to!!!
I hope he has lots of fun playing! Either way, he looks SO CUTE in his gear!

Vacation Bible School

Henry had so much fun going to Vacation Bible School at our church, St George's.
The theme was Wilderness Escape, and he had a blast learning all about God and Moses.
I am so thankful I was able to be there with him and see him learn all about God.
I was able to lead this crazy group of 3 year old boys the whole week!
I needed a nap everyday after this wild group!!
He had so much fun dancing and singing to the Bible songs as he calls it.  We often listen to the songs in the car, and he knows most of the words to each song.  Love hearing him sing!!

I wasn't exactly sure what Henry would understand from VBS, but he learned one very important lesson.
I ask him, Who do we trust?, and he responds, Trust God. He gives us strength.
That's right buddy, that's right!!
Working on crafts.
Such a fun week with my sweet, sweet boy!!!
Thankful God blessed us with him!

Celebrating July 4

So we ended up getting back from Hilton Head on July 5, tossed our luggage in the house, and then headed out to the White House carnival to celebrate the 4th of July.
We had so much fun with our dear friends!

Henry and Conner on their 1st ride.  Henry was kind of timid at first, but then he ended up LOVING all of the rides!

Cruising around town!
Henry on the roller coaster.  This sweet little girl, hopped in the seat next to Henry!

Fireworks!
The best view is on daddy's shoulders.
I obviously didn't take this picture, but I really do love it!
Our cute little town carnival.

Hilton Head

We had so much fun going to Hilton Head with our good friends Lee, Stacey, and Eli Willoughby!
July 1st-July 5th was a great little get away!
Henry was so happy to be with Eli.
They slept in the same room together and really got along on our trip.
Ready for the day at the beach!!!

Enjoying the waves

There's nothing better than lunch on the beach!

One of the nights we went out, we were able to ride a trolley.

Happy 4th of July!!
Henry had so much fun on the beach!
He liked to bury his trucks and then go digging for them.
