Family Time

This past weekend Henry was able to spend time with his grandparents.  MoMo, Papa Rick, and Grandpa Jerry came to visit us.  We had so much fun!

Henry did NOT want to give in and take a nap.  There was so much going on!  I think he took 2 thirty minute naps the whole day on Saturday when MoMo and Papa Rick were here.  That night he slept for almost 14 hours!!!

Oh, Henry

Henry is so interactive with everything now.  He smiles, laughs, and just takes everything in. 

Henry playing in his jumperoo.  He is still too small to actually jump around, but he loves looking and playing with the toys.

Henry rolls from his back to his stomach in no time now.  He can roll from his stomach to his back, but typically becomes more frustrated with this.  He scoots around and turns himself in a 180--either on his back or stomach.  We never know where he will end up! 

Henry loves to be in the carrier, so he can see what is going on.  A lot of times he helps mommy clean!

Henry had his first eye exam completed on 9/13/11.  Dr. Jenny Nance, a friend of mommy's, completed his exam.  The exam just makes sure his vision is within normal limits and rules out any diseases.  Henry passed his exam and has a healthy set of eyes.  :-)

5 months

Henry turned 5 months old on August 28, 2011. 

Henry, mommy, and daddy enjoy going on morning walks together.  We are looking forward to the cooler weather to come.  Henry is now able to face forward in his stroller, so he is able to look around and see what is going on. 

Henry is a good eater!!  He gets really excited when he sees his spoon and bowl. 

Henry loves to watch Bailey.  Bailey is very gentle with him and allows Henry to pet him. 

Henry began stage 1 solids on September 3, 2011.  He started off with green peas.

Henry had to get use to the flavor, but then wanted more and more.
