Solar Eclipse

The morning of the Solar Eclipse, August 21, 2017, we went to our favorite spot...

the creek.

We were in the path of totality for the solar eclipse, so we were able to witness this beautiful sight from our own backyard.  Our pictures don't do this justice.  

It was truly God's miracle.  Such an amazing experience!!!

Then it looked like the sun was rising about 2 and 1/2 minutes later.

Back to School

Henry had Back to School Night on August 1 and was able to meet his 1st Grade teacher.

Henry said he enjoys swim team, going to the zoo, birthday parties, the library, Chick-fil-a, Chuck E Cheese, and go carts.  He loves dinosaurs, hot wheel cars, ninja turtles, and super heroes too.

Happy 16 and 17 months Abigail

Abigail turned 16 months on July 11 and 17 months on August 11.  

Times sure flies by with this sweet pea!!

Abigail has 8 teeth. 4 on top and 4 on the bottom

She now knows how to say cheese! 

Probably because I take way too many pictures!!!

This was at Abigail's 15 month check up, but she was actually 16 months old when we finally went to see the doc. 

So this happy Little Miss weighed 20.7 lbs and was 29 and 1/2 inches long. 

She is everywhere!  Pulling up and standing unassisted.

Thankfully, Abigail is a pretty good sleeper!  During this time, we had about 1-2 weeks where she would sleep 15 hours at night.  She would go to bed at 7pm and wake up around 10am if our schedule would allow it.  Growing girl!!

Abigail took her first steps on July 27, 2017.  

She is on the move!!!

Abigail already displays her independence.  She will find something to eat on her own and insist on it!  She is definitely determined!

Abigail is able to sign more.  

She can say the words mama, dada, bubu, ball, book, more, baby, hi, bye, night-night. 

She is also able to point to her nose and head.  

Abigail really enjoys going to the library for story time. 

 I definitely enjoy my time with her!!
