15 months

Henry turned 15 months old on June 28, 2012.
And on June 26, 2012 our little man took his first steps (unassisted)!!!!!! So proud of Henry.

He really has taken off. He will stand without any assistance for a good while now (I haven't timed it or anything, but he is doing great!). Then his little feet just take off! :-)

Too bad the pics are blury, but we can see him moving.

Henry now weighs 24.3 lbs (71 %) and he is 31 inches long (44 %).  His head circumference is 18 1/8 inches (28%).

He now wears a size 4.5 shoe and continues to wear 12-18 month clothing.

Henry was scheduled for tubes to be put in his ears on July 6.  At his 15 month check up, Dr. Eidson recommended canceling the tubes since he has gone about 6 weeks without an ear infection.  I hope  he is done with the infections.  Time will tell!

Wishing daddy a happy father's day!!!

Henry HAD to help him eat his cupcake.

Henry's favorite food is defnitely fruit.  Blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, bananas.....any fruit!  He isn't really a fan of his vegetables.  I have to mix it in with pasta and then he will usually eat it.  However, he is known to pick around the vegies and then throw them on the floor!  He doesn't really care for a lot of meat either. I will mix his chicken or whatever with past too and he does better eating it.  He obviously loves pasta (spaghetti, mac n cheese, alfredo, whatever!)....just like his mommy!

I meant to mention this a couple posts back.  Henry stopped nursing around 13 1/2-14 months old.  He began whole milk in his sippy cup at 1 year and then continued to nurse at morning and night.  But then Henry weaned himself and no more nursing for this little man.  I defnitely cherished our time together.

Enjoyed meeting daddy for lunch.

Henry is definitely becoming a daddy's boy.  He loves to spend time with his daddy!

Henry will now climb up in his rocking chair and rock back and forth on his own.
Sweetest thing!

Henry now thinks it is so fun to do 'cheers' with his cup.  Pretty much everytime we sit down to eat he will bring up his cup to mine.  I will then say "cheers" and he just laughs....and then of course we have to do it again and again!  So funny!

Loves bath time!

Henry is enjoying the pool much more now that I found him a bigger float.

Love pool time!

He is such a busy body!

Henry has now learned to click his tongue. He thinks it is the coolest thing.  He still says 'nana' for eat.  He will point to the food in a book and say, 'nana, nana'.  When he sees a cat in a book, he will say the 'k' sound.  He is also saying the 'k' sound for duck.  We will work on that one. :-) He will also sign 'all done' when he is finished eating.

The other day Henry went to story time at our local libary for the first time.  This picture was the one and only time he sat still.  He was moving everywhere!
Acutally at story time, was the first time I saw him take a few steps on his own!!

Swinging at the park

LOVES books!!!

Henry definitely knows what 'eat' means.  When we are in another room, I will say, "Let's go eat." Then he will follow me into the kitchen saying 'nana, nana' and head to his high chair.

Sneaky little boy.

This little man is on the move.......see ya later!!!

Toddler Days

So I use to think that being a toddler meant the child was walking everywhere on their own.....
Well, Henry is taking his time walking independently, but I know he is definitely a toddler.

He has so much personality!

Henry is now saying 'Let's go.'  The way he says it is so funny; his intonation with the words.  He really gets excited when he says it.
I know he is pretty much telling me to go here too.....he doesn' t like for me to stop his wagon ride to take pics.
Henry and I recently enjoyed a fun day at Centennial Park with friends (Jenny and Addison Nance; Jody and Kate Simmons).

The weather was perfect. Henry enjoyed swinging and moving all over the playground.

Henry and his girls:-) Kate and Addison

Such sweet friends

Silly boy!!!

We were also able to go shopping with my good friend, Jessica Roberts.  Her sweet boy, Drew, is 6 weeks old now.  When I saw Henry next to this little boy, I just wondered when did our little man start growing up so fast.

For some reason Henry is not a fan of our pool we have, so I got him his own little pool to play in.

And he LOVES it!!!

He is able to move around on his own, and I know it gives him more confidence to be in the water.

Always wanting to share with Bailey!

So Henry really is into EVERYTHING.  I really do need to have eyes on the back of my head.
Henry knows that Bailey hides under our bed, so he will go and look for him.  It really is so sweet.  He lifts up the bed skirt and says 'do, dog.'  And he of course likes to read/tear up my magazines.

Digging through his toy box.
He is so funny to watch when he goes through his toys.  He will grab one, throw it on the floor, then do the same thing again.  The game is definitely 'make a mess for mom to clean up!!'

Sweet chocolate face

Our busy, energetic, sweet, easy going, happy little toddler.

Our precious boy is really growing up way too fast.
