Dear Baby Henry

So today you are 36 weeks and 3 days old.  The doctor said you are around 6-7 lbs now, which is average.  I feel like you will be a big boy though....we will see!  You are kicking and moving a lot, and I love every minute of it. Your daddy loves to kiss you and lay his head on my belly to speak to you.  Every night when he comes to bed he wraps his arms around you to feel you moving.  You always seem to know he is there because you will begin to move and kick around. 

I am now 1 centimeter dilated, so you are moving right along.  Your head is down, and I definitely feel your feet in my ribs at times....like right now! 

I want to thank you for allowing my pregnancy to go so smoothly.  I really don't think I have had any crazy cravings.  I do drink a lot of milk and I do enjoy sweets a lot more than I use to.  Here lately my feet and ankles have began swelling, but I think that is just you telling me to slow down. 

I am very happy, proud, anxious, nervous, and every other emotion I can possibly be about you joining our family. I pray everyday for you and our new life we will have together. 
Please just remember that your daddy and I are new at this, so we will be learning together.
