Henry and I were able to go to Cheekwood Botanical Gardens in Nashville today.
Throughout the summer they have exhibits of treehouses.
We met our friends Jenny & Addison and Jody & Kate.
It was a hot and humid day, but so much fun!!!
Alot of the area was shaded, so that really helped.
This way girls!!!
(Like Henry's sticker...he went with me this morning to vote in the TN primary elections!)
They were able to explore and walk every which way.
Playing inside the treehouse.
This one had a table and teapot set up.
They called this treehouse, Walden Treehouse.
Cheers!!!!
This treehouse was so neat!
It was a fish made out of CDs.
They named this one, The Rainbow Fish.
Relaxing for a bit!
This treehouse went out onto the pond.
We didn't stay very long on this one! Wandering little rascals made it a little scary!! It was made out of some kind of rope.
It was called, Ocean of Notions.
This treehouse was Henry's favorite. It had a ramp that they could walk up on their own and then a fun slide to get down.
Henry really surprised me....he LOVED the slide!
They called this one, The Giver.
There were a total of 7 treehouses, and Henry, Kate, and Addison enjoyed exploring each one of them.
Taking it all in :-)
Happy boy!
Sweet Addison
Cheekwood has beautiful landscaping all around.
Picking flowers
