4 months

Henry had his 4 month check up today.  He weighs 14 lbs 1 ounce and is 25 inches long.  His head circumference is 16 1/4.  He is in the 30 percentile for his weight and 51% for his height.  Dr. Eidson said he is growing like he should and James and I are doing a good job!
Henry is moving around more and more now.  He has graduated from being swaddled!  Last night (8/1/11) I did not swaddle him for the first time when he went to bed.  I am soooooooo happy to say that he slept through the night too. :-)  I was so nervous about not swaddling him, but he slept like a champ!  Now he moves all around his bed and on his playmat.  He will turn himself 180 degrees.  He is also rolling over on his side and getting so close at rolling all the way over.  He is talking so much more too.  He is such a happy boy!
Henry is now liking the nuk pacifiers instead of the soothie pacifiers.  He is able to pull the paci out of his mouth, but hasn't figured out how to put it back in yet.  We also think that he may be teething.  He loves to chew on his hands and anything else he can put in his mouth.
I am enjoying my work schedule with Henry.  I am so thankful that I am able to work 3 days and then off the other 2.  James begins his last year of law school on Monday, Aug. 8th.  I know Henry and I will miss him so much when he is gone in the evenings, but we are so proud of his hard work.  Only one more year!
Henry is also adjusting very well to daycare.  His teacher just said last week how proud she was of him.....as James and I are as well.
